The O'Niall Chronicles

The O'Niall Chronicles follow the experiences of a highlander style immortal, Siannon Fionnula Aislin O'Niall, born in Ireland in the Dark Ages, and those of the friends she has made throughout her life.

Another point worth making is that this *is* an Alternate Universe. The main difference from Highlander canon is that Richie is alive, and although I did try to keep roughly to Trek Canon at first, many of the stories were written before Voyager's Fourth Season was aired in the UK and I didn't try to keep to Voyager canon particularly after that. Torchwood canon has not been ignored yet, just embroidered a little.

Also in the Trek scheme of things I don't feel that the episodes 'Alter Ego' or 'Favourite Son' really fit in with the AU in which the O'Niall Chronicles take place, although if you do a Q impression and muck around with time, inserting them sometime after Basics 2 would make more sense. There is a further temporal liberty I have taken and that is to assume there is a period of months, rather than weeks, between Basics 2 and The Chute.

A Highlander story, set after Testimony in the third season. It is a touch angsty. Richie is back in Seacouver, where he meets an *old* friend

Beyond Chivalry A Highlander story, really scene additions to the episode Chivalry. How much did Siannon know about Kristen?

My first Torchwood story, set after episode 5.

Siannon finds that not everything is as it seems in Cardiff.

Siannon gets a visit from an old friend.

Takes place after the story Pas de Trois in the Mystery 'Verse. I advise reading the stories
between The Mystery We Are and this one just so you know what's going on!

Rating: PG -13 (S) It's not smutty at all, but there are slash overtones.

Walking on Thin Ice

Takes place after the Torchwood episode 'Out of Time' (and after Pas De Trois in the Mystery 'Verse).
Friends are very important to an immortal, especially if there are issues that are coming between them.

Rating: PG -13 (S) No smut, but there are slash overtones.

Star Trek: Voyager stories

Ripples This was my first attempt at fanfic. Read this before the other Voyager stories.
The rest won't make much sense without it. Takes place after The Basics: part 2 but before The Chute in Voyager's third season.
Highlander canon totally ignored, (i.e. 'Archangel' ignored),
they haven't got to the 24th century yet and
Richie is still alive and kicking in my universe.
The whole thing partly stems from a dream I had after watching Chivalry
again where Richie makes a comment about racing Starships in 400 years.
Rating:- PG -15 (S) for language and situation.

Say Goodbye to Your Dreams Still pre Chute in the Voyager scheme of things. Siannon has to work through a problem deriving from her past.
No prizes for spotting the reference to Methos and Alexa.

Butterfly on a Wheel A post Chute story. Just how well did Harry and Tom get over their traumatic experience?
Contains some angst.(It's a post Chute story, remember). Maelstrom Harry is thinking about all sorts of things after

Greensleeves Harry discovers something else about Siannon's past.

A Dream Worth Having? Takes place after the events of Blood Fever Siannon and Harry aim to help Tom through a problem of his own.

Stay With Me Till Dawn Takes place during Scorpion 1. Siannon has a vague sense of foreboding as Voyager enters Borg space, but why?
What effect will the consequences have on her?

Rating:- PG. Just a soupcon of bad language.

The Binding of Souls The Voyager Crew find themselves in a spot of bother,
and it seems up to B'Elanna and Siannon to help them out of it.
The method of that help may have a lasting effect...
This is sort of Alternate Season 4 or 5...

An Unexpected Surprise Some years after the events in The Binding of Souls,
B'Elanna, Tom, Harry and Siannon get the surprise of their lives,
but is it a good one?
This is Alternate Season 7 as I realise it wasn't a *complete* surprise in canon,
just a question of unexpected timing...

All In A Weeks Day Voyager didn't get home in this Universe,
and Q lands them with a slight problem.
It's up to Siannon to sort the puzzle out. This story takes place some years after An Unexpected Surprise.
Some of it was co-written with Alis, a fellow Highlander crossover freak,
and it is a companion piece to her story 'A Sense of Immortality'
