The Mystery 'Verse

Welcome to the home of the other stories that take place in the same Universe as the O'Niall Chronicles, but don't involve Siannon O'Niall herself. At present these are all Torchwood crossovers involving Methos (at least in passing) but that might change. They are in chronological order.
Most of the stories are in rtf, if you want to read them online please go to My home at live journal.

Torchwood and Highlander?

What is it about Methos and Jack? I've always been a fan of the ROG, but I never had the urge to write slash about him until Torchwood arrived
on the screen. Perhaps I was too obsessed about my lovely Trek boys to think about it, but Captain Jack has at last provided me with the perfect
foil for the oldest living immortal.

It all started in The Mystery We Are, the story in the O'Niall Chronicles that introduced Immortals to Torchwood.
The Rest, as they say, Was History.

And now for the other stories...

Turn Back the Night

Jack has to deal with how the aftermath of the episode Greeks Bearing Gifts makes him feel.
Will he have to do it alone, or will he have help?

Warning! Rating:-NC-17. Major (S) alert! This is an adult story, no-one under 18 allowed.

Torchwood is a paradise for slash fans.
With Trek and Highlander we had to read between the lines and look to the subtext to fuel our slashy needs.
In Torchwood it's canon, which is beyond wonderful. Jack/Ianto anyone?

A Cure for Pain

A story from Ianto's POV.
It starts at the end of episode 7 (Greeks Bearing Gifts) and continues up until the end of episode 8 (They Keep Killing Suzie).
How does Ianto react to the events of Greeks Bearing Gifts?
C an he deal with his feelings for Jack?

Title from the Song of the same name by the Dream Disciples.

Rating: - PG (S). Nothing explicit, but slash references are there.

Dotting the I's

A drabble.
Jack listens to advice for a change.
Takes place after A Cure for Pain and could even be a direct sequel...

Rating: - PG-13 (S). Still nothing explicit, but more obvious slash

Sunshine and Zinfandel

A  ficlet that was prompted by someone on Live Journal.
Autumn sunshine, Jack, Methos and a bottle of Cardinal Zin.
Not really any plot or smut either.

Rating: - PG-13 (S). Nothing explicit, but you do have 2 half-undressed guys in it.

So, we've already got Jack with Ianto, even in Torchwood canon. There is Jack with Methos in this AU.
How could I not let all three of them at least think about getting together?

End of the Day

This one takes place in the evening after Sunshine and Zinfandel.
Methos has left again, but that doesn't mean Jack is alone.

Title from the song by All About Eve.

Rating: - PG-13 (S). Nothing explicit in this, either.

Crossing the T's

Another drabble.
Methos is back in Cardiff.

Rating: - PG-13 (S). Remember, Methos and Jack are flexible...

Pas De Trois

Continues on from Crossing the T's.
Also incorporates the same scene as Violent Acts of Beauty, but from Ianto's POV.
Here you have a nice, long, plotless piece of m/m/m smut. Enjoy.

Pas de Deux is a term used in ballet for a type of duet, so a Pas de Trois would be a trio...

Warning! Rating:-NC-17. Major (S) alert! This is an adult story, no-one under 18 allowed.

Don't forget this is Methos/Jack/Ianto NC-17. You don't like threesomes, you don't read this!
And if you do and it makes you go ewww, don't say I didn't warn you!

Violent Acts of Beauty

A drabble and a half (that's 150 words).
The same night as Crossing the T's and Pas de Trois.
It's presumed that Immortals don't have scars...

Title from the Album of the same name by London After Midnight

Rating: - PG-13 (S). Nothing explicit, but it is... intimate.

Something More

A deliberatly ambiguous drabble.
We know who is there, but who is doing  the talking?

Rating: - PG-13 (S). Nothing explicit.

At the end of Torchwood's first season we have Jack and Ianto sharing their first public kiss, and then Jack disappears.
It's possible that Ianto would fall apart, but in this AU he isn't going to... he's got Methos,

Hiding in Waiting

Jack has left, and Ianto needs to come to terms with that.

title taken from the song of the same name by Rosetta Stone.

Rating:- PG-13 (S).

Power

Jack may not be around, but Methos most definitely is.
Ianto is more than happy about that.

Drabble

Rating:- PG-15 (S).

Light in the Darkness

During the Year That Never Was, Methos and Ianto managed to stay together and away from the Valiant.
They weren't alone...

Rating:- PG (S).

Together Alone

There have been many women in Jack's life, not all of them human.
One of them in particular holds a special place in his heart.
Takes place after the Doctor Who episode Last of the Time Lords

Title from the song by The Last Dance.

Rating: - PG (S). Nothing explicit, but there's a slash reference in there, though it's only Jack/Methos.
Blink and you'll miss it.

Remembering to Forget

Ianto finds that sometimes he can manage to almost forget about Jack.

Drabble

Rating:- PG-15 (S).

Eight Hours

Jack's back in Cardiff, and there's a potential paradox to avoid.
A lot can happen in 8 hours, and not all of it is necessarily going to be good after the year Jack has had.

This is a fairly long, semi-plotless character study with added m/m/m smut!
