But first, a litle more information: I write fanfic. If
you're here you've obviously discovered it for yourself, but if you
find all this fanfic business still confuses you, here's my view.
| Fanfic
or Fan Fiction, is fiction written by fans *for* fans of a particular
TV show/movie/book/whatever. It can embrace and expand on what is shown
in the original or canon universe or it can bear
very little resemblance to canon. Both types of fanfic are equally
enjoyable and just as equally illegal. Technically every fanfic writer
is in breach of copy write, except those few people who are published
in approved anthologies but these are usually professional writers or
people wanting to become professional writers. A fanfic writer writes
for fun, love and out of frustration (not to mention many other
reasons). We make *no* profit from our stories. |
This site contains stories based around the characters
and concepts of some of my favourite TV shows (often at the same time!),
particuarly Highlander: The Series and Star Trek: Voyager, though others may feature.

ALL stories carry a rating, using the
MPAA system as a guide because most people are familiar with this.
Ratings vary from G to NC-17, are the sole opinion of the author and
have nothing whatsoever to do with the MPAA. Please respect the
restrictions, and do not read anything for which you are underage.
Below is an explanation for the ratings:
- PG:- Contents suitable for most
ages, though adult guidance is advised.
- PG-13:- Contents may contain
mention of sexual references (nothing explicit) or subjects that
children under 13 will not understand, including some mild swearing.
- PG-15:- This is a UK rating that
is a sort of 'middle ground' between PG-13 and R. Stories of this
rating may contain subjects that younger teens may not understand, or
may find disturbing, and contains stronger use of language than PG-13.
- R:- Contents contain some NC-17
references within mostly PG-13 stories. Frequently contains strong,
'adult' language and may also be more violent in nature.
- NC-17:- Speaks for itself. Stories
of this rating are generally pretty explicit, from a sex and/or
violence point of view so caution is advised. Remember NO-ONE under 18
should be reading these stories.
By opening up either R or NC-17 stories, you're
acknowledging that you ARE 18 years of age or older and place no
responsibility on the author, owner of this web site, or the internet
server which hosted this web site.
